LAURA's life is turned upside down when a new family moves in next door - MARIE, her boyfriend CHRIS and her daughter MEGAN. Megan captivates Laura, an unusual little girl who reminds her of her own daughter JOSIE who died 8 years ago.

As Laura becomes increasingly obsessed with Megan, Laura's marriage starts to break down. Laura becomes convinced that Megan might be her daughter Josie. As events come to a head Laura takes matters into her own hands, revealing the truth behind the family next door in an unsettling and unexpected twist.

THE TEAM

Stacey Gregg (Writer/Director)

Stacey Gregg is from Belfast and is a writer, director and performer for stage and screen. Her screenwriting credits include THE INNOCENTS for Netflix, RIVIERA for Sky and YOUR MA'S A HARD BREXITMERCY, a short film for Headlong. Stacey was the recipient of a NI Screen Access short award for , which she recently wrote and directed. Her feature film BALLYWALTER is in development with Riverstone and Empire Street productions and she has television projects in development with the BBC and Kudos.

Stacey’s recent theatre work includes SCORCH, which she is adapting for the BBC, and CHOICES, in which she performs and collaborates. Further theatre co-directing / collaborations include INSIDE BITCH for Clean Break – working with women in the criminal justice system - and LIGHTS OUT for the Royal Court. Writing awards include an Edinburgh Fringe First, Irish Times Theatre Award for Best New play, Writers Guild of Ireland ZeBBie for Best New Script. She has had work produced in Canada, America, Australia, Sweden, the UK and Ireland.

 Sophie Vickers (Producer)

Sophie joined London-based Rooks Nest Entertainment in 2012 to grow the company's slate of original projects, and has since executive produced Gillian Robespierre's OBVIOUS CHILD, EL Katz’s SMALL CRIMES, and Adam Leon’s TRAMPS, as well as working on Robert Eggers’ THE WITCH. Rooks Nest is currently in production on a true crime documentary, and has projects in development with Fox Searchlight, BBC Films and the British Film Institute.

Prior to Rooks Nest, Sophie worked at Ruby Films where her credits as a production executive include Cary Fukunaga's JANE EYRE, Stephen Frears' LAY THE FAVOURITE, SJ Clarkson's TOAST, John Lee Hancock's SAVING MR. BANKS for Disney as well as CASE HISTORIES and DANCING ON THE EDGE for BBC2. Sophie was selected in 2011 by the British Council as one of their Young Creative Entrepreneurs in Film.
